We turn the clock back to the 1940’s which sees the main street take a step back in time to the era of Air-Raids, Ration Books and Utility Suits. People wear period dress, the Home Guard is put on standby and out come the sand bags, troops carrying kit bags can be seen striding out up the hilly cobbled streets. 40’s Vehicles are dotted up and down the street, with 40’s News Paper & Programme of events on sale bringing the latest news from the front lines. Live entertainment on the street over the weekend with Military Vehicles, Jive Dancing and Marching Pipe Band on parade.
