Scroggling the Holly is on 1st December 2013. A procession of local children in traditional Victorian dress welcome Santa and the Christmas spirit to the Village.

Scroggling the Holly 1st December 2013

SATURDAY 30th November:
*Fairy Parade - 2pm starts at thebottom of Main Street. Bring the children, extra fairies very welcome!
*Drighlington Brass Band
*Waldershelf Choir

SUNDAY: 1st December:
at the bottom of Main St. The Holly Princess will travel up the street in a horse and cart, flanked by ushers and sweeps. Followed by the crowning of the Holly Queen on theChurch Steps.
