I believe my grandmother, Margaret Eleanor Oliver and maybe her older sister Hilda, and older brother Edwin, as well as their younger cousins Richard and 'Nellie' Bibby went to this school in the period of 1907 to 1912, when my great grandmother Sarah Oliver and her two daughters and son immigrated to Canada in 1912. Sarah and the children worked in a local mill. The house they lived in, which I have a photo of, with the village of Stanbury in the background down the hillside was small and frame and no longer appears to exist.

Surprise, surprise! I spoke too soon! Built in 1852, the row of cottages my great grandmother Sarah and kids lived in was in Lumbfoot! And the homes are not only still standing, but still occupied! BEAUTIFUL village! Little has changed in over 100 years!
