West Lane Wesleyan Chapel - c. 1910

History Pics

Description:
West Lane Wesleyan Chapel - c. 1910

Your Comments:

This chapel was demolished in the early 1950s because of dry rot. The small congregation currently worship in the building to the left of the photo which was a Wesleyan day school long before state education. The gate posts remain giving access to the car park. The current building is known as the Grimshaw Centre, named for Rev William Grimshaw.
