About Haworth Cat Rescue
Caring for Cats - Helping People
Haworth Cat Rescue provides a safe haven for as many unwanted and abandoned stray, feral and surrendered cats and kittens as we can. We care for them at our centre until a suitable new loving home is found, matching the age, temperament and needs of each cat to the new individual or family adopting him or her. We never turn a cat away because he or she is too old or has a managed medical condition such as diabetes with our no-kill policy providing peace of mind to those reluctantly forced to surrender cats through changed circumstances and those bringing unwanted strays or kittens to us.
Due to increasing pressure and space constraints we are able to help in just one third of cases - and this is heartbreaking. Many cats and kittens are missing out on a second chance. We are leading the way in Yorkshire and have launched an appeal so that we can purchase land and build a visible and permanent cat rehoming centre - to meet today’s need and help thousands of unwanted cats and kittens long into the future.
Every personal fundraising challenge and every pound donated is crucial our upkeep and to the success of our new Centre Appeal.
To make a donation by mobile phone please text CATS22 £5 (or 1,2,3,4,10) to 70070. THANK YOU

Go on - Give us a Pound!

Keep our 'In for A Pound' drive alive and kicking by donating one pound online today and passing the word on to 5 of your friends. If every person who donates also inspires 5 others to do the same the ripple effect created is significant...

We estimate land purchase and construction costs to reach £2 million to establish a permanent new Centre and Feral Sanctuary. This is tough for a local charity without the backing of a national charity - but with your help we can do it.

There are lots of ways you can donate - and if you wish to set up a standing order of £1 per month, then your help stretches even further! If you are a UK tax payer, please be sure to give your donation with Gift Aid - giving us an extra 28p on every pound at no extra cost to you.

• Visit our website (www.haworthcatrescue.org) and donate online using the links on our New Centre Appeal pages
• Pay online using Paypal selecting the “Gift” option so fees aren’t deducted – our email for Paypal is haworth.catrescue@btinternet.com
• Donate cash to us at our Current Cross Roads centre
• Send a cheque/Postal Order made payable to Haworth Cat Rescue to: The Farm, Lower Pierce Close, Cross Roads, Keighley, BD22 9AQ
• Pay direct to our Yorkshire Bank account – 05-05-35/17467476

We are grateful to everyone who asks and who everyone who donates. Let’s prove that In For A Pound really works. Thank you. >^..^<
