About Worth Reading Book group
If you enjoy reading and would like to discuss what you read, come and join 'Worth Reading' Book Group which meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the Old White Lion, at 7.30 pm. It's a growing group, keen to have new members.

So you can be reading ahead - or at least ordering the books you'll need - the proposed books for the next few months are:

August 7th: a participative play reading from 'An Inspector Calls' by J B Priestley (a new venture, but something we hope will appeal to lots of you)This was to have happened in May but events overcame us.

September 4th: 'If Beale Street could talk' by James Baldwin - and don't miss the chance to watch the film of the book beforehand on Friday 26th July at Haworth Cinema.

October 2nd: two books for this month, with medical themes: Atul Gawande's 'Being Mortal' and Adam Kay's 'This is Going to Hurt: Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor'

Welcome one and all!

Contact Jo Pinder on 01535 645275 or Deborah Mullins on 07427957935 or just turn up.
