About Haworth West Lane Baptist Amateur Operatic Society

The Society perform a Gilbert and Sullivan comic operetta every November and a Spring concert in May.

We welcome new members who would like to join the performers on stage or to help backstage. There is always room for anyone to join in the satisfaction of providing our audiences with an evening to remember.

We welcome members of all ages and meet every Wednesday from 7.30pm to around 9.30pm from the end of February to late November at West Lane Baptist Church to rehearse for the productions in May and November.

We have social activities throughout the year to bring us all together for fun events.

News

Following the success of our spring concert 'Les Musicales' in May 2019 rehearsals are now in full swing for our annual Gilbert & Sullivan show 'Iolanthe'.

This will be performed in memory of our founder member and former Musical Director Terry Lofthouse from 11th to 16th November 2019. New members (on or off stage) are always assured of a great welcome to our friendly Society. Please contact Secretary Janet Bastow on 01535 603065 for further details.

Whats On
