Secondary Schools – Overview

Listed alphabetically in 3 categories are the secondary schools chosen by residents in Haworth Cross Roads and Stanbury.

First category are schools that are considered as feeder schools; the ones parents use most and the local primary school have links to. Next, other secondary schools chosen by residents, some are with a different local authority. Third local authority grammar schools, which require an entrance examination.

The process of selecting a secondary school begins in the Autumn term of primary school – year 6 when you will be asked to fill in a Common Application Form giving your preferred choices of schools.
