Ponden Clough

Ponden Clough

Ponden Clough

Description:
The area in sunlight is Ponden Clough and the building is the Game keepers lodge. The "notch" (above left of the tree) in the hill is "Great Nick" a meltwater channel from the Lancashire ice sheet which ran into the Worth Valley.

The white line you can see running parallel to the lodge is a track which has an underground culvert, taking water from the head of Ponden Clough (left of photo) to Watersheddles reservoir.
