Insects – West Yorkshire

Insects are the largest group of animals. They have six legs and a segmented body covered by a hard exoskeleton. Some have one or two pairs of wings. Certain insects are a problem such as the house- fly which spread disease, there are also other insects that are useful such as the Bee and Hoverfly which pollinate flowers.
