Mistle Thrush

Mistle Thrush - December - Haworth

Mistle Thrush

The Mistle Thrush is slightly larger than a Blackbird, the breast is pale with large spots. Often seen perched high on the top of a tree and also seen looking for ripe berries on trees and bushes.

It is sometimes called the "Stormcock"; while many birds take cover it is often known to sing as a storm gathers.

Length: 27cm
