Jay - June - Bridgehouse beck - Oxenhope

Jay

The Jay can be difficult to see and you are more likely to hear it, giving a harsh screech. You can find them near to trees, they have the habit of burying acorns in the autumn for food in the winter. The forgotten acorns take root, it is the Jay that has helped the growth of oak woods.

Length: 34-35cm
