Common Lizard

Common Lizard Lacerta viviparawhich, a reptile which can be seen on heath and moorland, they have been seen near the Bronte Falls and at Penistone Hill Country Park. They have the ability to shed their tail when threatened by predators. They are 10 - 16cm long.

Common Lizards hibernate from October to April
