Charlotte Bronte image found on toast

150 years to the day since Charlotte Bronte died her image has been found emerging from a piece of humble toast.

Alec Norbet-Troth discovered the toast while staying at Haworth.

"I was staying at a Guest House in Haworth and asked for another piece of toast, the waitress put the toast down on the plate and I was amazed to see the likeness of Charlotte Bronte staring at me. I quickly took my camera out and snapped a picture".

The find is similar to that of the toast found bearing the image of the Virgin Mary in the US last year.
