We spent four lovely nights at Pickles Hill Cottage. Mrs Lohan met us when we arrived, the log burner was already fired up and she even made us a pot of tea. A bottle of wine was chilling in the fridge and our grocery package consisted of some lovely jam, soda bread, eggs and cake, perfect! Pickles Hill Cottage was spotless, comfortable, very cosy and pretty. We really enjoyed staying there and found plenty to do, there are some wonderful walks. Couldn't fault it, lovely break away. Thanks so much to Mrs Lohan for making our stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely come back and we'd highly recommend a visit. Thanks Mrs Lohan.

We just came back from our 5 night break at the Pickles hill cottage and the memory is still very much alive. We had a fantastic break. Mrs. Lohan made sure we had everything we could think of during our stay. We had a very warm welcome and Mrs. Lohan explained to us everything about the cottage, even made us a cup of tea on arrival. We find a chilled wine in the fridge, as well as some other Yorkshire treats. We had enough tea and coffee to last us for weeks!. The bedrooms were very cosy and the linen luxurious. to complete everything-in the shower room we find all necessary toiletries and soft and fresh towels. The cottage is very clean and has superb view. And,even when it was cold-we still enjoyed our stay, lighting a fire(we had enough logs to last us for every night of our stay and had been assured that we can have more if we needed to).We were told about all must-see places around and nice places to eat(The Grouse Inn -very good home cooked food indeed).
We would recommend the cottage to everyone: it has something for walkers, for small families with children, for a couples(like us). The neighbours are very friendly. we even had a surprise visits from their cat:)who like to sit in the garden and spy on us through the lounge window...we could go on and on about it. But really all we want to say is:thank you Mrs. Lohan, we will be back.

We stayed at Picklls Hill cottage for a short 2 night break, booked directly with the owner Mrs Lohan. We were given a very warm welcome on our arrival and were informed of the points we needed to know re the heating etc. There was a host of goodies left for us including a delicious bottle of wine well chilled in the fridge. The cottage is extremly well equiped with eveything we needed, icluding a wood burning stove to keep the Autum chill out!!.Everything was spotlessly clean, with very comfortable beds and furnishings. We visited both Keithley and Skipton which are both in easy driving distance. We can and will recommed Pickles Hill Cottage to all, and hope to stay again very soon. Many thanks to Mrs Lohan for making our break so very enjoyable.

We stayed at Pickles Hill Cottage recently for 2 nights which was arranged as a last minute break directly with the owner. We had an excellent time and could recommend this cottage. The owner met us as we arrived and helped us to settle in and explained the workings of the cottage. Everything was perfect for our break for 2 adults and one child. We found all of the accomodation to be spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed a cosy night in, using the wood burning stove and had an excellent meal at the Grouse Inn which is a few minutes walk away. We enjoyed visiting Haworth and the area for walking is very good. A lovely welcome pack of groceries was provided and a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge. Thankyou Mrs Lahore for ensuring our visit was so stress free and pleasurable. We look forward to a return visit.
