Your Reviews:

The open space inside The Grouse contrast sharply with the previous clutter, and the plain furniture, decor & blackboards nod towards the processed pub-grub offered in some chain outlets. NOT SO! Service was good and informed and the food (unpretentious and obviously prepared using excellent ingredients) of restaurant quality. The wine was similarly excellent and if there is a draught beer to better Taylor's Landlord for taste & finish, I've yet to try it.

Discovered this lovely hostelry totally by chance.Although we live only 10 miles away we had never actually visited. What a wonderful surprise. If you only visit one restaurant while in Bronte Land - Make it this one. The views are breathtaking, the food is superb and the welcome and service from the staff second to none.11 out of 10!!!

This place might have been a well known local secret, but now I've tried it I'll be going back again and again. I can only echo the sentiments expressed in the first review. Fantastic food and service.

We are lucky enough to be very close to The Grouse and eat here almost weekly. The food is second to none (and we have eaten in supposedly good places, NOTHING compares!)the service is always first class, exceptionally friendly and anything is possible. We love the place, the food , the service, the atmosphere. TIP - go early or book or you will be disappointed. It is a very well known secret locally.
