The walk begins at Scarborough Harbourside Tourist Information Centre. Harbourside, Sandside.360 panorama here…Location map here (external site – opens in a new window) situated on the promenade at the South Bay.The walk is about ¼ of a mile, which is steep at times.

Cross the road. 

Carry on up the road, which bends to the right.

Continue on up East Sandgate Rd

Follow road round to left into Castlegate.

Walk to top of road………

……Which bears to the left.

Carry on walking, on your right is the Coastguards headquarters. 

Road narrows, keep going straight on.

Across the road, straight ahead is St Mary’s Church.

St Mary’s Church was not used at the time of Anne’s Death, it was being rebuilt.
