Springwatch

Springwatch is the biggest ever survey into the arrival of spring across the UK. It’s run by the BBC in association with the Woodland Trust and the UK Phenology Network.

They would like you to watch out for and record your first sightings of any of the six species below.

Make a note of the date and the grid reference or postcode where you see any of the species for the first time. Then go to BBC springwatch to record the details.

The findings of the Springwatch survey will be revealed in a new BBC TWO series, Springwatch with Bill Oddie, later in the year.
